The Art of Daily Writing: A Journey of Learning and Reflection
Recently, a friend asked me, "Why do you write every day? Isn't it hard with all that extra work?" It got me thinking. I've been blogging daily for so long that I hadn't really considered the "burden of work" aspect in a while. To be honest, there have been days when writing my blog felt incredibly challenging and time-consuming. I even contemplated quitting and waiting until I had something truly meaningful to say.
But then, I had an epiphany. Those difficult days often coincided with periods when I hadn't learned much or was still deeply immersed in absorbing new knowledge, making it hard to articulate my thoughts. That's when I realized that writing wasn't my primary goal; it was a reflection of my learning journey. So, why do I write every day? It's not just about sharing knowledge or showcasing personal growth. It's about putting my understanding of what I've learned to the test by articulating it in my blog.
In essence, I write daily to reflect on what I've learned. It's a way of testing my comprehension and solidifying my understanding. So, to answer my friend's question: I write to test my learnings, and no, it's actually not that hard.
